Convection Dryoff Ovens
Convection dry-off oven is a common and effective method for drying and curing parts after powder coating, as it uses heated air circulation to ensure quickly evaporate water and thoroughly dry a part.
- High Air turnover: Dryoff ovens have high air flow, often 2-3 times that of a cure oven to quickly dry parts
- Even Heat Distribution: The circulating air ensures that the heat is distributed evenly across the part, leading to a uniformly dry and/or preheated part.
- Versatile: Convection ovens can handle various part sizes, shapes, and materials.
- Cost-Effective: Convection ovens are generally less expensive and dry much faster than infrared ovens.
Blowoff Systems
- Moisture Removal:
Moisture trapped on the part’s surface can lead to defects like blistering or peeling during the powder coating process. Blowoff systems use compressed air to effectively remove this moisture before the part enters the oven.
- Improved Adhesion:
By ensuring a clean, dry surface, blowoff systems contribute to better powder coating adhesion, resulting in a more durable and longer-lasting finish.
- Efficient Oven Operation:
By removing moisture and contaminants before the oven, blowoff systems can help reduce the oven’s workload and improve its efficiency.
- Location:Blowoff systems can easily located in tight/small areas between a washer and dryoff oven. Typically they located at the end of the washer to remove trapped water.
